The graphite pencil antler …
“Whether drawing lines or inscribing words, the act of making marks lures ideas into the physical world,” says San Francisco conceptual artist Agelio Batle. His Antler and Quill (2004/2006) are made of solid graphite, and every part of these sculptural objects writes like a pencil. As the Antler and Quill are used over time, their shapes will change, like an evolving sculpture, until there’s nothing left except the final mark on a page. - Design Within Reach

A living wall!!! By Woolly Pockets
Create a “living wall” inside or out. Hang one or more, plant and grow! These modular gardening containers are handmade in the USA from an industrial felt made of 100% recycled plastic bottles and totally breathable—allowing soil to refresh its oxygen supply. The moisture barrier is made from 60% of the same stuff per military standards for impermeability. A double-lock stitch and strong UV-resistant nylon thread goes into each pocket. The indoor versions are lined to protect walls while allowing plant roots to breath; outdoor Wallys are unlined so water can drain without pooling. Easy to install and includes mounting hardware. You should see what we did in our A+R store in Venice! Plant herbs or succulents or veggies or just about anything. When empty, fold flat and go. The nice and innovative folks at Woolly Pocket family are based in Phoenix and L.A., and their super cool offices are solar powered and qualify for LEED Platinum status. - A+R
